About us

JennyB&WJenny Ulyet is a learning manager for the Judicial Institute for Scotland, providing support for the programme of work, including face to face courses delivered to Senators, Sheriffs and Justices of the Peace.  She has a key role in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of courses and manages workflows and matrix managing staff.

Prior to this, Jenny delivered vocational qualifications and functional skills for adult learners in the workplace, as an external training specialist. She has also used her occupational expertise to design and facilitate workshops in life skills and creative activities for people with learning disabilities. Jenny holds a BSC (hons) in Business Studies, a PGDip in Occupational Therapy, is a CAVA qualified assesor and a certified Life Coach.  She provides consultancy services for those who seek advice on learning, training and delivery methods, including Legal Advisors providing local training for Justices of the Peace. In her spare time Jenny likes to play the ukulele, banjo, tin whistle and use her crafting skills to make accessories.

 

230357_5697093857_239_nTamarin Fountain is a freelance performer, writer and workshop facilitator.  After graduating from Drama Studio London, she acted in many high profile TV, film and theatre productions, taught drama and travelled the world as an events and entertainment manager with P&O Cruises.  Tamarin tours her one-woman musical show and is a founding member of Edinburgh’s all-female improv comedy troupe Tinderellas. She’s also part of Smoky Monkeys, The Schlocky Horror Improv Show and a guest performer with the award winning Spontaneous Players, appearing regularly at comedy clubs and venues throughout Scotland and beyond. 

As a writer, she’s a contributor to  The Wee ReviewFringe GuruThe FountainThe Skinny, and Boom Saloon, as well as providing a variety of content for many small businesses. Since moving to Scotland she trained as a counsellor and has worked extensively in public sector learning and development, primarily as a trainer for the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service.  Tamarin also provides indivdual coaching sessions and facilitates drama-based workshops.
